Daniel May

Holy Grounds
Contemporary Meditations on Life, Coffee, and the Practice of Faith
In the summer of 2008, Daniel May led a small group of folks in planting a church. To make ends meet, he worked as a barista in a local coffee shop. As he ground espresso, manned the counter, and chatted with customers, he noticed that God was using the experience to teach him in ways that he had never anticipated. This book is a collection of stories and reflections and ponderings from that journey.

"Daniel will make you laugh and then a moment later you realize you've been sucker punched with the kind of truth you can't shrug off. You will want to go back to these stories again and again."
Missy Mareau Garcia, Screenwriter
"If you are in need of a course correction, or just a simple reminder of God's point of view on life, then this is the book for you."
Andrea Jobe, Documentary Filmmaker
